65 years, Philpots, based in Luton Bedfordshire, have provided
hard chrome plating services to industry, as well as associated
services such as hard anodising, metal spraying, grinding and
machining. Throughout this time the company
has undertaken motorcycle fork rechroming for the general public,
trade and motorcycle enthusiasts.
From our
8600ft2 factory facility in Luton, just off of junction 11
of the M1, we employ 19 highly skilled staff working across
a range of disciplines.
Over the
years we have developed an enviable reputation for the provision
of high quality motorbike fork rechroming and rebuilding and
currently undertake around 120 pairs of forks per month making
us one of the market leaders.
One of the
key strengths of our fork rechroming service is that you can
be certain you will get your original forks back, with
a better quality than new, unlike other companies that
offer pattern parts. Furthermore, all work is carried out in
house ensuring the highest levels
of quality control at every stage, as you would expect from
a leading precision engineering company.
We also
offer hard chrome plating of other motorbike components such
as swinging arm spindles, shock absorber rods and brake caliper
pistons.
Our
constantly expanding business which now includes a new
Technical Coatings
Division, based in Milton Keynes, serves a wide industry base
including the food, marine, packaging, hydraulic, motor sport
and canning
industries.
